Daniel Recovery is a coaching business run by Daniel Gomez ("Daniel Recovery," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, book a call, message us, or join a coaching program, and how we use and protect it.
Short version: we collect what we need to coach you, we never sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Information you give us
- Booking details: your name, email, phone number, time zone, and answers to booking questions when you schedule a call.
- Messages: what you send us by Instagram, Facebook Messenger, text, or email.
- Health and fitness information: details you choose to share about pain, tension, injuries, medical history, sleep, diet, weight, body measurements, photos, and progress. Only share what you are comfortable sharing.
- Payment details: handled directly by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, mainly for security and performance. Our booking calendar (Calendly) is embedded on the site and may set its own cookies. We do not currently run advertising pixels on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy.
3. How we use your information
- To schedule and hold your call and decide together whether coaching is a good fit.
- To build and adjust your workout plan, meal plan, and coaching.
- To reply to your messages and send reminders and updates about your program.
- To process payments and keep business and tax records.
- To keep the website secure and working well.
If you message us through Instagram or Facebook, an automated assistant (ManyChat) may reply first with information and a booking link. You can stop automated messages at any time by replying STOP or by telling us.
4. How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Calendly (scheduling)
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook Messenger) and ManyChat (messaging)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Google (email)
- Our payment processor and video call tool
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
5. Health information
Daniel Recovery is a coaching business, not a healthcare provider, so health information you share with us is generally not covered by HIPAA. We still treat it as private. We use it only to coach you and never share it for marketing.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a client and for as long as needed afterward for records, taxes, and legal reasons. If you book a call but do not join, we keep your details for a reasonable time in case you want to follow up, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
7. Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opt out of marketing emails or messages at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under local privacy laws. To make any request, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Children
Our Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
